We are looking for a dynamic Reservation Agent with a passion for delivering amazing service. Reservation agents provide a warm and friendly environment with each and every guest interaction. Often the first point of contact over the phone, you listen attentively to guests' desires/needs to present room accommodations options, making note of any special requests to delight our guests. The primary functions of this role are to foster and grow all revenue streams within the Stock Island Marina Village + Perry Hotel using guest service benchmarks, marketing resources, and public relations efforts as tools in the consistent execution of the sales process. Your responsibilities will be include interaction with boat owners, boat captains, hotel guest, and referral networks to affect sales by e-mail and telephone to make, confirm, and cancel reservations for guests in a pleasant, professional and efficient manner in an effort to increase occupancy and generate loyal guest and return business.
You take ownership in helping create a positive memorable experience with each and every guest encounter. You take the time to connect with each guest and potential guest as the likely first point of contact with our hotel. Your ability to convey a warm and inviting welcome over the phone or email transports the guest to their vacation state of mind and is the true beginning of their experience with us. The rapport you establish in answering their questions, providing personalized information, and ensuring their entire experience exceeds their best expectations! You must have great written and oral communication skills and be comfortable multi-tasking in a work environment.
